In 2014, South Carolina Healthy Connections Medicaid granted hospitals the ability to presumptively determine Medicaid eligibility for potential beneficiaries (requiring program enrollment stipulations).  In the workshop, we will cover determining allowed Medicaid categories and calculating MAGI household composition and income limitations. We will also demonstrate the presumptive eligibility period and how it merges into traditional enrollment periods.

*This class is open to anyone who wishes to attend; however, it is designed for hospital employees who will be making these presumptive determinations and meets training obligations for participating staff members.*
